Swayam Sea Solutions would like to re-affirm that this procedure would result in the vessel actually making a swing at its own convenient time and place, and note the readings as against the compass being adjusted (partially) at anchorage.
We provide Master with a thorough step-by-step guide for following this procedure.
We as the remote compass adjuster obtain deviation by email from the master by getting the vessel swung. Once the deviations are obtained, we calculate each coefficient and then advise master for the correctors to be shifted/adjusted.
We provide Masters with sufficient pictures, videos and if required, telephonic assistance for helping them to shift the correctors. After shifting the correctors, we request master to again swing the vessel and report if there is any residual deviation for correction.
Once the deviations are in limit, deviation card is prepared and issued to the vessel and the company.
